Marine Station at Infobox

The model of the future seat of the Emigration Museum at the newly opened Obserwatorium Zmian (ang. Observatory of Changes)

On Saturday, June 8, Infobox was opened – an exceptional structure destined to get people acquainted with all the investments taking place in Gdynia as well as with those yet under development. The opening ceremony with the participation of local authorities, including the city’s president, Mr. Wojciech Szczurek, gathered a crowd of citizens. The event was accompanied by concerts and meetings.

The visitors’ attention was particularly drawn to the meticulously prepared, detailed models featuring the city and the investments currently in progress – among them the Emigration Museum in Gdynia. The institution was placed within a large model picturing the whole agglomeration, but also within two meticulously constructed separate models. They show the building from the outside, but also partly unveil the secrecy surrounding the interior of this treasure of modernist architecture. Both models can be seen on the first floor of Infobox.

While we kindly invite you to see the models for yourself, we also encourage you to follow current events organized by the Emigration Museum in Gdynia. Information about them may be found on leaflets, brochures and posters in the Culturebox complex.
