Holiday time is the best time for adventures and this is why the Museum would like to invite children aged 3-10 to take part in workshops where they will travel in time and space together with the heroes of our exhibition. This is an idea for those who dream of travelling like Paweł Strzelecki or becoming a mountain railway constructor like Ernest Malinowski. Every Thursday all through July and August, we would like to invite you for another portion of excitement and new challenges.
The classes will be conducted in groups of 3-5 year olds and 6-10 year olds and will bring the participants closer to the outstanding figures in Polish emigration – discoverers and scientists. Children will learn about the places to which Poles have emigrated for centuries such as the USA or Brazil. They’ll discover the secrets of transatlantic ships, voyages and flights across the ocean and have fun with film and cartoon heroes. As soon as the children have immersed themselves in the world of travellers, discoverers and pioneers, we’ll move on to the active part of our workshops and, together with our participants,we will create brilliant structures and works of art inspired by many different corners of the world. All classes will be conducted by experienced culture managers according to their own programme of events.
That’s the sort of adventures which everyone likes to get involved in!
All workshops are subject to prior booking via e-mail at warsztaty@muzeumemigracji.pl. Please include the name and surname of the child, his/her age and the guardian’s telephone number. The cost of a single class is 10zl per child + 5zl for any additional sibling.
