We would like to invite you to submit proposals of scientific and popular science texts for the next issue of the „Polish Migration Review”.
This time the theme will be the broadly understood issue of migration stereotypes. We will look for answers to the questions of what a stereotype is, how it arises and how it differs from a image. We will look at the phenomenon of stereotyping in various areas of everyday life – education, politics, media, work and culture. We will also deal with the influence of stereotypes on migration policy and on the images of migrants from a local and global perspective.
We invite researchers of the humanities and social sciences to analyze the related issues. Please send abstracts of the texts up to 500 words long by the end of March, 2021 to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The “Polish Migration Review” (Polski Przegląd Migracyjny) is an interdisciplinary popular science magazine published once a year by the Emigration Museum in Gdynia. The periodical is devoted to migration issues, considered both from the historical and contemporary perspective. Each individual issue of the magazine is devoted to different research issues related to migrations. We invite outstanding specialists in many fields, both domestic and foreign to work with us on the magazine, which makes it possible to look at many areas from a broader angle.
