On May 8, the project of the Emigration Museum in Gdynia was presented in the Polish embassy to journalists and Poles living in London. General Consul Ireneusz Truszkowski served as the host of the meeting and welcomed the Director of the Museum, Karolina Grabowicz-Matyjas, accompanied by the Museum’s spokesperson – Joanna Dąbrowska. The distinguished company of guests included members of the Government of Poland in Exile, Association of Polish Veterans, Polish Educational Society, Association of Polish Writers Abroad, Polish City Club, Polish Home Army ex-Servicemen Association and many other esteemed Poles who are politically, socially and culturally active in London. The event marked the first official presentation of the institution abroad and was an important meeting on the road to further development of the museum, especially in the context of gathering memoirs and souvenirs.
