How to get to the museum?
The Emigration Museum in Gdynia is located at ul. Polska 1. The seat of the Museum is the historic Marine Station located in the area of the Port of Gdynia, near the French quay, in the immediate vicinity of the Gdynia Port Captain’s Office.
Access to the Museum is possible in several ways:
BY BUS
Get out at the “Dworzec Morski – Muzeum Emigracji 01” [Marine Station – Emigration Museum] stop.
On business days:
- bus no. 119 between 8:00 and 17:00, arriving every 20-40 minutes;
- bus no. 133 between 8:00 and 22:00, arriving every 30-40 minutes;
On Saturdays:
- bus no. 119 between 9:20 and 15:00, arriving every 60 minutes;
- bus no. 133 between 8:00 and 22:20, arriving every 30-40 minutes;
On Sundays and holidays:
- bus no. 133 between 8:00 and 23:00, arriving every 30-60 minutes;

BY BICYCLE
From Chrzanowskiego St. to Polska St., there is a bicycle route leading right to the Museum building.
BY CAR
Right in front of the Museum entrance there are several parking spaces, including one for the disabled.
FAST URBAN RAIL (SZYBKA KOLEJ MIEJSKA - SKM)
Get out at the “Gdynia Shipyard” (Gdynia Stocznia) stop and walk the rest of the way (approx. 20 minutes) or reach the “Victims of December ‘70”(Ofiar Grudnia 70) bus stop. You can also get out at the “Gdynia Central” (Gdynia Główna) stop and then walk along Starowiejska St., and then T. Wendy St. (approx. 25 minutes). Getting out at the “Gdynia St. Maximilian Hill” (Gdynia Wzgórze Św. Maksymiliana), you can take bus no. 119 and 133. The SKM timetable is available at: www.skm.pkp.pl.
WALK
When visiting the Museum, it is worth considering a walk. Located near the city centre, the area of the Port of Gdynia intrigues passers-by with their industrial character. It is worth starting the stroll on the Kaszubski Square (Plac Kaszubski) and finish with a view of the sea from the terrace of the Marine Station. The walk takes approx. 20 minutes.
